GLOSSY AMALFI
AMALFI COAST, ITALY
This gorgeous vacation on the Amalfi Coast is best summed up in three words: pizza, pasta & prosecco! Julian and I ate our way down the Coast (#eataly), beelining for the restaurants and tables overlooking the cliff's edge to the famed rugged shoreline of beaches, colorful umbrellas and cobblestone streets. Between bites, we boated along the coast of Capri, hiked down what felt like thousands of stairs to quaint beaches (and back up - ouch), strolled through pastel-colored fishing villages and among lemon groves.
Our boating experience off the coast of Capri was a highlight of our trip! Our captain Raffaele stocked his gorgeous Fratelli Aprea with everything a travel couple could want - endless prosecco, Italian white wine, Tarallis (my nonna called them "pepper cookies") and cheese and charcuterie for days. Raffaele was a master boatsman, cutting in and out of narrow caves and through rock formations, and gave us a private grand tour of the beautiful coast of Capri.
If the boating wasn't awesome enough to make the whole vacation worth it, we did WAY more, including visiting Ischia, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and the rest of Capri.
