Anyone who knows me knows that Barcelona holds a special place in my heart! So when Barcelona photographer @saycute DM'd me asking to take our photos in Central Park while she was visiting New York City, we didn't have to think twice. Xenia's work is amazing, and we couldn't wait to see what she had planned for us. Turns out, what she had planned wasn't what the New York weather had planned, which was a windy, near-freezing day in early March! Meeting Xenia and her husband was so worth it, they're amazing people and she's an amazing photographer. Cocktails named for the five boroughs in front of a roaring fire at Tavern on the Green afterwards helped! Anyone planning a destination wedding or a trip to Barcelona must reach out to @saycute! This is such a special place for us, since it's where we got engaged! You never know whether there will be musicians playing under the terrace, entertainers blowing huge soap bubbles, artists sketching portraits, or just sketchy people... after all, it's New York... but it's equally as beautiful in the snow, rain, sunshine, fog, sunrise, sunset, under falling leaves, blankets of snow, and dustings of cherry blossoms. In short, it's an iconic spot and special place to make your own beautiful memories.
